Privacy on this site

This site uses Google Analytics only if you allow it. Nothing else tracks you here.

Last updated November 2, 2026. This notice covers vincentgaleano.com. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from its page.

Your choice

You can allow or withdraw analytics here at any time. Withdrawing stops Google Analytics on this site and deletes its cookies from your browser. The site works the same either way.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is off unless you allow it.

Google Analytics

If you allow it, Google Analytics 4, a Google service, helps me see how many people visit and which pages they read. It records:

  • the pages you view, the page that linked you here, and how long you stay;
  • scrolling to the end of a page, clicks on links to other sites, and file downloads such as the résumé;
  • your browser, operating system, type of device (such as phone or computer), and language;
  • your country and region, which Google derives from your IP address. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and collection of your city and detailed device information is turned off.

Two cookies, _ga and _ga_8DTELNNE1M, hold a random identifier so that repeat visits are counted once. They expire 13 months after your last visit.

Analytics is not used for advertising. Ad personalization and Google signals, which would link visits to Google accounts, are turned off, and so is sharing the data with Google for its other products and services. I don’t send Google your name, email address, or any identifier of my own.

Google keeps detailed visit data for 14 months, then deletes it; summary reports, such as monthly visit counts, are kept. Google may process the data in the United States and other countries. Its use is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Other ways to opt out

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics stays off unless you allow it above. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Other data

Your appearance setting and your analytics choice are saved in your browser’s local storage. They stay on your device.

As with any website, the hosting provider and its content delivery network receive your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages, and may keep them in server logs.

If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply. There are no forms on this site.
